Project Overview

Pixels2Pixels Studio was commissioned by Dorier Group to deliver an interactive VR experience for Patek Philippe in Geneva, showcasing the brand’s museum and the iconic vault where its most prestigious timepieces are kept. The Oculus Quest 2 standalone multiplayer app was designed to immerse guests in a high-fidelity digital environment where they could explore the museum’s interior, interact with key features, and take part in an exclusive watch unveiling. The project had a challenging timeline of just a few weeks from assignment to completion—requiring both technical precision and creative speed.

Our Approach

High-End Virtual Experience for a High-End Brand We approached this project with the same attention to detail and refinement that Patek Philippe applies to its watchmaking, ensuring the VR experience reflected the brand’s elegance and exclusivity. Multiplayer Roles & Interactive Features Host Role: Exclusive control over the environment, including room lighting, music selection, and vault access. Watch Reveal Mechanism: The ability to open the vault remotely, triggering a presentation of new watch models on silver plates that glide out and place themselves onto a table. Immersive Museum Walkthrough: Guests could navigate the space freely, admiring the museum’s architecture and curated displays. Unreal Engine Optimization for Standalone VR Full development in Unreal Engine with performance optimization for standalone Oculus Quest 2 headsets. Networked multiplayer functionality for synchronized experiences among multiple participants. Visual fidelity tuned to deliver premium quality without compromising real-time performance.

Delivered a fully functional multiplayer VR app within weeks, meeting the event deadline.
